Exams Detail and Time: In-Present in our tuition centre only.*** 7+, 11+, ISEB, CEM ***ISEB and CEM are tested in computer Fee: £60 2 Hours including English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning.We have to limited the time to 2 hours to let students focus the exam to challenge themselves. Actual Exam Experience: We have drawn on our immense experience and put a lot of time and effort into creating challenging and engaging exam papers that are an accurate reflection of the actual assessments your child will take. We also replicate exam conditions so your child will become comfortable and familiar with all aspects of the experience. Better Time Management: It is likely that your child has never had to take a formal assessment of this kind before. They will therefore gain invaluable experience by sitting a timed exam alongside their peers. Not only will they be able to improve their time management skills, but they will also feel more relaxed and confident on exam day. What is ISEB? The Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB) provides the most well-known and respected examinations and assessments for pupils transitioning from prep and junior schools to senior schools in the UK, designing and setting the Common Entrance assessments, which have been used since 1903. Written by teams of highly-qualified and experienced teachers from the UK’s leading schools, our assessments are designed to help pupils demonstrate their potential across a wide range of subjects at 11+ and 13+. Having expanded our assessment portfolio in recent years, we now offer the innovative online and adaptive Common Pre-Tests for senior school entry and the iPQ, an exciting project-based qualification designed to support pupil-led, skills-based learning journeys for pupils in Years 5 to 6 and 7 to 8, and a perfect complement to our other assessments. What is COMMON ENTRANCE (CE)? Our well-known and highly-respected CE assessments are designed to give pupils transitioning from prep and junior schools to senior schools the chance to demonstrate what they know, understand and can achieve when they arrive at their new school. In use since 1903, our robust, research-based CE assessments are set by highly-experienced teachers from some of the UK’s leading schools. They aim to equip pupils not only for the next stage of their education but for life-long learning based on a secure foundation of subject knowledge, concepts and skills. CE AT 11+ Pupils sit the CE assessment at 11+ when they are in Year 6, mainly for entrance to senior independent girls’ schools. There are two examination sessions each year, in November and January, however most pupils sit the examination in January. The assessment consists of three papers; for English, mathematics and science. INFORMATION FOR SCHOOLS CE AT 13+ Our well-trusted CE assessment at 13+ is strongly supported by many of the top prep and independent senior schools in the UK and beyond. Covering a wide set of subjects, our rigorous specifications provide a clear academic focus for pupils in Years 7 and 8, and great preparation for GCSEs. Pupils sit the CE assessment at 13+ when they are in Year 8, and there are three examination sessions each year; in November, January and May/June. All pupils sit three compulsory papers; English, mathematics and science, and they may be required to sit additional papers in a wide range of subjects including geography, history, classics, modern foreign languages, and theology, philosophy and religion.
